Testosterone is partially converted to estradiol, a form of estrogen, and while this is a normal process, it may affect hormone balance when overall testosterone production falls. We use estrogen blockers to maintain a better balance for some men. Vitamin B12 and human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) therapy may also prove effective at treating low levels of testosterone.
